About the Symposium
The Binary Being Symposium is composed of several distinct elements:
- keynote addresses to focus the discussion
- moderated group discussions to create the future
- artistic exercises to inspire vision
- artistic presentations to inspire and inform the conversations

Symposium Venue :

| Housing :
Rooms have been put aside for Binary Being attendees at UC Berkeley's Stern Residence Hall, a 10-minute walk from the International House, our conference venue. The daily rate for a single or double occupancy* room is $57.00. Space will be held until May 31, 2007; after that date, rooms can be reserved on a space available basis. Full payment will be required upon check in. Payment may be made by VISA, MasterCard, Cash (exact change required), or Traveler's Checks (in U.S. currency). Personal checks are not accepted.
You need to contact Stern Hall directly to make a reservation. Be sure to mention Binary Being, or conference reference # 14186, when booking a room. Upon receipt of a reservation application that includes your arrival and departure dates, you will be sent a confirmation letter via e-mail.
* If you wish to share a room with 2 beds and you have a room-mate, please enter your room-mate's name on the Stern Residence Hall reservation form. One of you will need to pay the full amount on arrival, since UCB will not accept a half payment.

| Meals :
Your registration fee covers mid-morning snacks, Thursday dinner, and Friday/Saturday lunches. Other meals can be purchased at Foothills Dining Hall, adjacent to Stern Hall. Breakfast $8.00; lunch $10.00, dinner $12.00, pay at the door. Or, you can explore the many local eateries in downtown Berkeley. |

UC Berkeley is a 55-minutes drive from San Francisco Airport; and 30 minutes from Oakland Airport.

Registration fee is $450.
We are happy to offer a special student discount. The Student Registration rate is $350. Please bring current student ID to show on the day of the conference.

| Cancellation Policy :
To cancel your registration, notify us in writing (email cancel@binarybeing.org) by July 1, 2007, and you will receive a full refund minus a $90 administration fee. There is no refund after July 1, 2007.
